This morning I early voted in Pasadena at the Annex on Kyle Chapman. As usual it wasn't very busy. They set a room aside and put paper up on the large windows for privacy. Anyway, I voted and as I was walking out, I happened to look at the paper on the windows...guess what it was

silhouette targets!!
Only in Texas!

"Only in Texas" would someone not take notice of silhouette targets used to paper over polling place windows.

Perhaps they've already been taken down. The democrats would probably claim intimidation

You'll need to be at least 100ft away to get it or face the possibility of expulsion.
Texas Election Code Sec. 61.014. USE OF CERTAIN DEVICES. (a) A person may not use a wireless communication device within 100 feet of a voting station.
(b) A person may not use any mechanical or electronic means of recording images or sound within 100 feet of a voting station.
(c) The presiding judge may require a person who violates this section to turn off the device or to leave the polling place.

Hey, if Michele Obama can campaign inside a polling place, surely we can take a little old picture, right?
Oh, I forgot. We're the little people, so no we cant.

So a person could simply take the picture and walk away without waiting to be expelled, right?

I wonder how old that statute is. With the number of people carrying cell phones these days I find it hard to believe this would be enforced. Is there an exception for the media?

I recall the "no cell phone turn off phones" etc or something like that sign at the door of the voting elections room in our courthouse.
I forgot what other signs were taped to the door.

Sure, but within 100 feet? In my area the voting is in the city's recreation center. I almost carried in there once when I had forgotten that local voting stuff was going on. I went back and left it in the car and went back in. I don't remember seeing any sign restricting phones or cameras, but I wasn't looking for them either.
