HOUSTON - A barrier designed to protect the country's southern border may be a dead deal.
The Department of Homeland Security is inching closer to ending the "Virtual Fence" project.
This is the same DHS we pay through taxes, who is filing motions to dismiss cases against up to 17,000 illegal aliens who law enforcement officers were paid to and risked their lives to arrest, and the Immigration Court judges we pay are dismissing them?
I'm guessing that either:
1) Someone at DHS is benefiting from the trade coming in across the border, and/or dealing in weapons to people in Mexico, since guns are illegal there and hard to obtain.
or
2) Someone at DHS is picking up the Islamic prayer rugs left behind near the border and selling them for a profit without paying the import fees/taxes.
