Texas Church Shootings

I have had several in class really not think church carry was necessary.
I do cover the "gun free zone" attitude of BGs for church, school especially.
I am wanting to add a list of Texas church shootings as a handout in my CHL classes. I have a few that are national & of coarse the Wedgwood account.
I thought about a yr ago + someone published one on "Texas Church Shootings" on this board. Anyone remember??? Or am I getting old???
LT

I don't recall the post LT, but I there was one in Houston a few years back at a Hispanic Catholic Church.
Chas.
See if this helps.

I remember the listing here on the forum, but I can't find it. I did find this with Google. It appears to be nationwide.
BTW, the blog below is pretty weird, the list is what I found helpful. I wouldn't cite the source tho'. LOL
Hope that helps,
Nick

After a quick advanced search for "Church Shootings" with the quotation marks included, below is a partial list from awhile back. Also a PM to wgoforth since it seems he was working on a paper dealing with the topic might be productive for you LT.

This guy,
Carl Chin, maintains a website on violence at churches nationally. I don't know if he has what you want, but you might find it helpful. And he his easier to cite with out sounding a bit...odd.

I used to be a Youth Pastor at a church for a few years. One of the youth told me that their friend would always break into the cars of people while they were at church because they knew no one locked them.
Not quite "church shooting" but along the same lines of letting down your guard.

Sounds like the Campus Parking Lot gun farm, where crops are free in cars if you bring a hammer while CHLs are in class.
I searched but pretty much only found the above. I had found prior school shooting lists (a couple on Wiki), but not a "Texas" church shooting list/database.

I remember after Wedgwood, someone at the station asked me what would happen if someone came into my church like that. I simply said, "About five or six of us would return fire." Perhaps that is why the numbers are lower here than some other places.
