Someone using Google Earth made the discovery. The building was built by Israeli engineers. Been there for decades. Iranian officials incensed, want it removed.

Just do a search for "Iranian Air Headquarters" in Google Earth. Totally hilarious.

It's hard to believe that those Iranians are so harshly opposed to promoting someone's religion that they would order it removed.
Oh... wait a second...

Israel should respond that they are "sending over a device to remove it immediately. Please put on your hardhats"

I thought we agreed that if we press the U.N. and force Israel and South Korea to disarm and be gun-free zones, they'd be safer, like in a campus building, or Mexico where guns are illegal

If you're in the DFW area, or ever come to the DFW area, I will buy you coffee and lunch.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw this on the news about a week ago. I didn't realize at the time that Israeli's had designed/built the building.

What I'm in the most amazement about is that this is an airport and for the past 30 years not one pilot or passenger has noticed this?

They probably did, it was probably a subject of much "water-cooler" chat in the ready-room and just never filtered into official channels.
