I was wondering if we were going to have any of our Members with a Christmas birthday and we do. Happy birthday firehiker and jman7659! Sharing your birthday with Christ is an honor.
Have a great day!
Chas.

Man, what do you do for someone whose birthday is on Christmas? Do you get them a Christmas gift, or a birthday gift, or both Christmas
and birthday gifts, or one really big expensive gift for both?
Inquiring minds want to know....

Wife's little brother was born on Christmas day. His presents were Christmas & his cake was B-day.

My youngest is 14 today. We have always put aside dinner time for her birthday as she was born at 1730. We decorate the dining area in birthday decor and the rule has always been to family and friends - "if it is in Christmas paper it is a Christmas gift". All of a sudden my little Christmas Angel is over an inch taller than me!
We hit the first and last days of the 12 days of Christmas... my oldest was born on Epiphany!

Yeah, thats got be rough.
Mine is two days before Christmas (23rd)...and my brother's is the day after (26th). My parents would always
combine the B-day parties into C-Mas day.
Didn't matter to me...but I can remember my little brother mildly objecting.
Happy B-day guys!
Flint.

My son's is 27th. We always celebrate his b-day with cake and a few presents, but I like to celebrate his "half-birthday" in the middle of the summer to spread things out and allow him some presents at another time of year and also to be able to have a birthday party when kids are available. Most of the time we are at the grandparents on his birthday, and his friends are out as well so... But this year was his 18th, and so we did it up as much as possible. But we are also going with my wife's "birthday week" celebration style. Ruger GP100 .357 mag for b-day with ammo and (inexpensive) holster; took him to the range today to try it out. He came home and cleaned all the guns he shot thoroughly.
I just thank God for such a wonderful son. He is growing into a tremendous young man. Can't wait to see what the next few years have in store!
