AZ shooter Mug shot?

AZ shooter Mug shot shows no facial hair, no eye brows, no hair on that skull. Why, wasthe shooter being treated with Chemo? is his terminally ill with cancer?

could his dishevled face be the result of some "love taps" from either the citizen heroes who wrestled him to the ground or the cops/jailers who've had him since then?
He kind looks like he went a few rounds with a quality welterweight.
