Hopefully there are pictures of the plaques somewhere (and that whoever has the pictures knows about this atrocity to share the pictures).

It truly is tragic that someone would choose to do this to a war memorial.
As a side issue, what century is the VFW living in?
...bronze plaques...the only official list
