Perfect Compact Carry Gun

Due to some recent purchases, I need to make room in my gun safe. Up for sale is a Taurus PT 709 Slim. This is a great gun for pocket carry. I bought this gun in September, and it runs flawlessly. However, I just bought a Kahr PM9, so this gun no longer has a place in my carry rotation. I have approximately 100 rounds through this gun without a single FTF.

Interested... what part of Houston are you in? This would be a carry gun for my wife and we would like to see how it fits. The only one I could find locally was the PT740, but it wasn't the "slim" model.

I live in Katy. I work west of downtown at Beltway 8 and Westheimer. I can meet at any range in the area if she wants to try it out (Top Gun near the Galleria might be the closest between us, but I can come closer to your area). The gun shoots great. As with any small 9, there is some recoil, so she may want to fire it before making a final decision.

It is a nice carry gun size-wise, and also has a manual safety, which some like for pocket carry. I really like the loaded chamber indicator. It is very clear without being obtrusive at all.

I should also add that I will be selling my PF9 as well as soon as I make sure that my new Kahr PM9 works as expected. I will probably have that posted up later this week.

All part of my New Years resolution to decide on a standard carry rotation and then sell (or give away) any "extra" guns that duplicate those in the rotation. The PF9 and this PT709 Slim both are excess to the PM9 since they are all in the 9MM pocket carry category.
