Unfortunately, gun control legislation will come no time soon. The gun rights lobby and its right-wing henchmen

Joe Zamudio ran to the scene with his hand on the butt of his pistol, "ready to kill him." But the man who he wrestled to the ground was not the shooter.

Zamudio had mistakenly targeted one of the innocent bystanders who had managed to disarm and restrain Loughner before he could reload. If Zamudio had shot this man, the death toll that day would have been even greater.
Comments can be posted either on site, or through Facebook, but no one has. She has quite a bit of "mis-information" there, typical :grumble .

Don't you love how Joe Zamudio's story of grabbing the arm of the guy holding the gun, only to be told that that guy wasn't the shooter, has been twisted into "he almost shot the wrong guy"?

Yes, and now instead of bumping the guy into a wall, and proceeding on to hold down the correct guy, he's wrestling the wrong guy on the ground.

I've seen LOTS of police resting their hands on the butts of their pistols, I had no idea they were all ready to kill people because of that, I figured their arm might be tired. Ive seen pregnant women rest their hand on their stomachs ... wonder what that means.... I know now to stay away from them.
