This story cracks me up

A female suicide bomber was killed when her bomb exploded prematurely. Apparently terrorists in Russia prefer to have handlers work with their suicide bombers. They observe the bomber and when the moment arrives to achieve maximum destruction, they send a text message to the suicide bomber's cell phone, which detonates the bomb. Unfortunately for this woman, her cell phone company sent her a happy new years text message and, well, the project ended with a solitary victim.

I see a counter terrorism strategy in the offing - a web page listing cell phone numbers so you can text your favorite bomber. :biggrinjester: Lord only knows how many terrorists the spammers could take out. :smilelol5: :smilelol5: :smilelol5:

Many VIP cars have cell phone jammers for that purpose.

Cell phone jammers just keep the bombs from going of, I like the "accidental detonation" idea...

Heard this on the radio this morning, cracked me up when I heard it was a Happy New Year text that set it off.

Maybe TSA could use this tactic....

"Please take off your shoes. What is your cell phone number? Now please step into this armored steel booth..."

The phone company probably just wanted to "reach out and touch someone" to make sure their year end was a blast!

Talk about a advertising opportunity for that company, "_____________, The personal cell carrier, we'll also keep you safe by thwarting suicide bombings".
