This isn't gun stuff, but sometimes I just like to share the wealth a little on other things.
Last October, on the drive from Lewisville down to CHL Forum day at Friendswood, TX,
we stopped into Brenham, Texas and took the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory tour.
Friends - consider a day trip for just adults, or take your children to see a Texas tradition
being made. It's somewhat rare to be able to take a tour of a manufacturing plant. You and
your children will have a great tour and ice cream at the end is included in your price!
The Blue Bell site in Brenham does not have any 30.06 posting and no gunbuster signs of
any kind, so you don't have to leave your heater in the car.
Brenham is located 73 miles northwest of Houston and 89 miles from Austin, so there are plenty
of you out there that could make a little day trip to see ice cream being made.
Blue Bell, IIRC, is sold in 19 states. Brenham is the home office/factory and they have 2 other
ice cream plants in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Sylacauga (say Sill-uh-cogga), Alabama.
