The video is of a "panel" discussing a Michigan proposal to allow their CCWs to carry in churches, schools and sporting events.
I'm glad that I live in Texas. The most amazing part is how they all know "how it is going to be." They need to get out more.
Edit: Sorry, I should have included the instruction to press the right side "Let it Rip" button to get to the gun related video

Boy, did this take me back. I work for a controls company in Pennsylvania. 27 years ago we got the contract for that water plant in the video and we were also laying off in Pa. The company told me that I could continue to work for them but that I would have to relocate. Unlike some others, I was given a choice; relocate to Detroit to work on the City water project (with morons like you saw in the video) or go to Houston and work on power generation utilities. Want to guess which I picked???

Discussing the intended video...
The guy states that the solution to the "madman" problem is to educate the person so he doesn't grow up to be a madman. I was unaware that insanity was a (lack of) education problem! Perhaps we should require a high-school diploma to purchase a firearm?

Wow. Just wow.
I didn't realize I was such a danger to the public.
I wonder if I should just leave it at home from now on so everyone will
feel safer.

You hit the nail right on the head. They "feel" safer when others don't legally have guns but in the mean time, the BGs run rampant. Detroit has a very high crime rate. You might be safer in Afghanistan than in downtown Detroit after dark.

Detroit. I spent a week there one night.

I get your drift.
God bless Texas!

I spent 9 months traveling back and forth to Detroit from Dallas every week but worked out of Southfield, one of the moderate distance suburbs. I had to attend a meeting at GM center in downtown Detroit, right along the water and stayed in the adjacent Marriott. I was paranoid just getting there. I normally refuse to eat hotel food but there is absolutely no place close by that would be safe to get to so.
There were no visible signs of security and there were lots of questionable characters everywhere. It sure seemed like a week to me, too.
To add insult to injury, my hotel room faced the Canadian side and my cell phone picked up a Canadian tower. When I got my cell bill, it had $75 worth of charges because I had made "Canadian calls". It took me a couple of months to get that straightened out.

I saw a youtube video a while back documenting the massive decline of Detroit. Tried to find the video, but was not successful. But it showed whole neighborhoods in extreme distress. Burned out hulks of houses, boarded up windows, looked like some pos-apocaliptic movie set. Seriously, the destruction defies description. That movie made it look like the best thing that could be done for Detroit would be to totally bulldoze the entire city and start over. The vidoegrapher blamed decades of big-government, liberal policies that first demolished the American auto industry, followed closely by the implosion of the housing market.

I didn't understand their argument against being allowed to carry in church... well actually, I didn't understand any of their arguments.
Oh noooossss! A lady is sitting by me in church and she has a gun concealed on her that I don't even know about!

That city is locked in a perpetual death spiral.
Trivia time - Robocop came out in 1987 (24 years ago). The theme was crimefighting in the rundown Old Detriot. But why was there crime? It was because the cruel capitalist Omni Consumer Products (OCP) had taken over the city and were running it into the ground in order to build a gleaming New Detroit City.
Obviously this is a broad generalization, but they believe the corporations are what bled the city dry and will fight them (evil capitalist) to the end. You will not convince them otherwise.
