Anyone have one? I found one at what I consider to be a good price, and I am thinking of picking one up. Does anyone have any personal experience with them?

I've got one, lots of fun to shoot. A bought a wood stock set to replace the plastic stuff it came with the rifle.

I bought one years ago for a great price at a gun show. Brought it to the range to test it out and found it liked to rip the base off brass, leaving the rest in the chamber. Major headspacing issue

. Seems to be a problem with some of the rifles, might be worth researching more.

On any CETME shoot it before you buy it. The quality control was good to non existent on some rifles. I have had more than one and they are great rifles if you get a good one, but will make you pull your hair out if you got a bad one. Like mentioned above there are head space issues and also known issues with worn rollers making it very hard to cock/charge the rifle.
They are very similar to an HK G3/91. The quality of Spanish rifles were not the same as the HK though. Not to say they are bad, but shoot it first.

I own 2, and I have a friend that owns one, and another buddy also owns two. We have all been pleased. The only issue I've had was chambering a round...if the bolt is locked back and put a full mag in and just slap the charging handle down so it closes there is no problems. Two different times I inserted the mag, with the charging handle forward, and racked it back, but the bolt did not travel forward enough, or seat all the way. When I pulled the trigger, all I got was a click instead of a bang. Maybe that was my bad, maybe not. All around I enjoy them, they are great rifles for the price. I was really impressed with the accuracy of mine with the factory iron sights, I can shoot the wings off a fly with mine.
