CHL Applicant with Green Card

What is the documentation an applicant needs to send in to DPS if they are a resident with Green Card ?

If they have a green card, then they probably also have a drivers license or state issued ID.
Tell them to send in both.

Copy of both should be enough.

Thanks guys, DPS finally answered too with the same info. That's what I thought he should do, just wanted to make sure. He's German, and I am sure all of this was quite an experience for him.
