Academy has this one on sale for $179 this week. It got a good review from Gun Test magazine.

...I'd say hit the pawn shops...I've bought some great pumps for $100-150 there...20s and 12s...cut the barrel down to minimum length on a miter saw, snapped on a fiberoptic collared sight...and there you go...recommend Mossberg, Winchester, and Remington, of course...Stevens if you can find one...

They also sell the Mossberg/Maverick 88 18.5" for $189.99, not made in China

How much do you want to spend? Have one I could possibly be willing to part with, but more expensive than the $200 starter pumps.
