baseball, soccer and softball games

The several kids' cell phone videos, especially the bottom one (has the second bursts of gunfire) are pretty good.
"27 cop cars"
Witnesses heard 40 to 50, ...60 rounds or so fired maybe
"Police said the man was shot and taken to an area hospital with no life-threatening injuries"
No other injuries reported

I was shocked reading the title, because Hutto has always been a pretty calm town. Not much more than Black Dirt farmland when I was growing up in Austin. But...after reading the articles, I see the chase/trouble actually started in Taylor, which does not surprise me.

By the mid 80's Taylor and even Elgin were beginning to get some bad elements living there.

I imagine everyone at the ball game(s) were quite surprised by it all.

Yeah, that would be about like 30 police cars running around Llano chasing 1 car... people would talk about it a while because it isn't an every day thing.
