How soon did you hear from DPS after you sent in the packet?

Yup, me. There is an off chance that I may be employed by then, and that would interfere with me attending this year.

I applied in October. Didn't hear anything from DPS until two weeks ago. If you don't make the April classes, the next one is probably August (per an email I got from them).

I sent my packet in on Jan 3 or 4 and recieved the email today. (2/10)

real estate or CHL training? real estate is picking up; chl biz is just getting started - thinking of possibly combining the two and offering chl classes to fellow Realtors soon (gotta find a title company not too squimish about guns and willing to "co-sponsor" and host a chl class)

My realtor here in Pearland is also a CHL instructor. Her husband is Pearland PD and they do classes together. I have a pen with her information somewhere....

I'll hit you up when I'm heading up there 'cause we defintely got to do lunch. I had a blast (pun intended) hanging out with you at the forum shoot.

I recieved a complete list of hotels with my registration packet. BTW..Course is being held in Georgetown.
