I don't have pictures yet as I put it on layaway at the local pawn shop but it is a nearly new 12 GA Express Magnum for $190 OTD. I put $40 down and have no layaway fees so 3 payments of $50 and I'll have my first shotgun.
I went around to a few other Gun stores and Pawn shops and the best deal I could find was another 870 Express *Non Magnum* that looked pretty bad. Had paint scuffs, nicks, and rust on it. They wanted $219 for it so I walked out :) and went back to the other shop. They were asking $200 the guy said I will do $175 plus tax I said sweet!

If I could only have one gun....well, you know the rest. I love 870s.

Two of us!
They are the quintessential workhorse of shotguns...IMO.

I wish I still had my WIngmaster 870. That was a beautiful gun and a pleasure to hunt with. But I'm happy with the 870 Express Magnum I picked up recently and looking forward to shooting some skeet with it.

The 870 is a great choice - and that sounds like a great price. The first gun I ever owned was an 870 my grand-dad gave me when I was 16. I've hunted with it all my life. That's the one they will have to pry from my cold dead fingers.

Nice find! I loved my 870... selling it was a poor move on my part.

I agree with regards to the 870...I got one for father's day last year and I have been delighted with how well it shoots.
I've customized mine with the camouflage replacement stock and pump you can buy from Remington, and I picked up an extra 18.5" barrel for home defense. All of my mods were genuine Remington parts.
My father has a Remington 870 Wingmaster that my mother bought for him before I was born, in the mid-1960s. I hunted with it as a teenager and it's still in great condition. Someday it'll be a safe queen for sentimental reasons.
