Florida: Concealed Weapon or Firearm License
Nevada: Concealed Firearms Permit

Just askin', do you have to pay a pretty hefty fee and be 21 years old to wear one of these special symbols or are they also available to CHL's in waiting?

Note there is a difference in "weapons" and "handguns"
Example, a "concealed "handgun" license isn't a "concealed 'Weapon' (nunchucks/switchblade/blackjack/brass knuckles) Permit" as it could be in other States. I wouldn't get a badge which said I had some authority I didn't have .... that'd be "wrong" and fraudulent. I doubt a jury would be pleased with anyone presenting a badge showing authority they do not have.

I had no interest whatsoever in purchasing this item, just thought Id post in interesting find.

Well, darn, I don't have a concealed weapons permit, either, but since the deal was just too good to pass up, and since I do nearly always have a gun (or two) with me, I simply took a black Sharpie and filled in the word "PERMIT." Now I'm good to go!

Gold badge = Sergeant or higher. Nice.
