LNIB Ruger Mini-14 W/ Leupold Scope

I have a friend that is selling a LNIB Ruger Mini 14 with scope.
He purchased the rifle new here in Houston from Carter's Country back in 2001. It has had less than 20 rounds fired through it and is in like new condition, serial #196-4XXXX and the original 5-round magazine.
He also has a Leupold VX-1 2-7x33mm scope with matching rings that is also in like new condition.
He has all the original paperwork, boxes and documentation for both items.
It has basically stayed in the box for the last 10 years.
He would rather sell as a package but will separate if necessary and also do a local FTF transaction here in Houston.
