I just agreed to do a live interview on the Houston Fox affiliate, KRIV Ch. 26 at 5:00 pm. The interview will be on campus-carry (imagine that) and there will be someone in opposition. I think it's going to be someone from Stephen F. Austin, but I may have misunderstood.

I'm roughly 60 miles north of Austin. I only get Houston Stations in the morning with my antenna, unless there's a temperature inversion, but they came in great at 10:30 p.m. 2 nights ago, so I'll give it a try, but at 5:00-ish the sun's photons are pushing my direction from San Angelo etc so I get them better..

On KRLD Radio in DFW I'm hearing a lot more "anti" people aired than "pro" even though I know I've left comments. I guess they are using "call-screening"

All I find for watching KRIV live is two sites showing their traffic cam also available at kriv's site

Thanks, I've been doing this for years now and local reporters know if they engage in creative editing of my interviews, they'll never get another one. The one at 5:00 today is live.

I believe I recall the Campus Police chief from U of H was vocal against campus carry, but the Houston Police Union guy was pro on the same points the Campus Chief was anti.

Campus police have stepped up patrols around Farish Hall in an effort to prevent any further incidents following an aggravated robbery last week.

Last week, a student was approached from behind and robbed at knifepoint in an exterior restroom in Farish Hall.


This month, there have been several instances of motor vehicle burglaries in UH parking lots. Increased lighting and emergency call boxes have been added in order to report crimes or emergencies. The pressing of the call box button connects directly to a police dispatcher.

They also know there's a potential for a better crop of vehicle guns on campus...

Charles did a fine job in the interview. Fox seemed balanced in the interview
