Just saw this on Micheal Berrys website and was utterly disgusted. Once again, we cant carry our protection in 51% locations while these thugs can get away with anything they want. I know this didnt happen in Texas but I just wanted to post for all to see.

Yea,it was kind of hard to hear for me as well. From what I can gather, it sounds like the bouncer was accusing him of selling drugs. Whether he was or not, there was no need to attack and harass him the way he did.

Some follow up. The bouncer's dox are currently posted on the YouTube comments, including his cell phone number. Oh, the internetz, they're so clever.

If I was NOT dealing drugs in the strip club toilet, I certainly wouldn't be emptying my pockets for the bouncer. I'd be calling the cops. Maybe I'd take a beating, but if I'm not guilty, I'm not putting up with that bouncer without objecting.

Does that make what happened right? Certainly not.
If the guy was dealing drugs, the cops should have been called.

Probably a case of two wrongs making.... two wrongs.

That's why I simply don't go to 51% locations.

Well, this guy wasn't in the bathroom of his local church. The way I look at it, if you hang out in seedy establishments, you are going to be dealing with seedy people. And, there are two sides to this story due to neither one of them being a choir boy.

Yeah, right. I think he meant to say 'respectable'. I would have to disagree with both of his statements. Never seen a respectable strip club, and don't think their patron's are gentlemen unless you get down to the definition of 8 or 9, and we know that term in number 9 is used VERY loosely when referring to most politicians.

This was posted on another board I frequent, so I'll just copy my reply from there.

His mistake was complying with any request from the "bouncer" other than leaving the property. I believe, had it been me, they would have found "oh great brown dude" curled up in a ball bleeding like a stuck pig and screaming like a hungry baby when I left that room. Of course, I dont waste my time in places like that anyway.

Now, let me say that my statement is not to imply that I am some kind of tough guy who would have fought with the guy and beat him into a fetal position. I carry a handgun and a knife everywhere I go that I am legally allowed. When I am prohibited from carrying my handgun, I still carry my knife. I would have had my knife in my pocket (in my hand within my pocket to be specific), along with the rest of my belongings because I would not have emptied my pockets for him, and at the first sign he was going to attack me, it would have been out of my pocket and in use for self defense. But again, I do not frequent such establishments, so I would not encounter this situation in a place like that.

Regardless of the moral issue of patronizing a strip club, the bouncer should be charged with kidnapping, assault, and robbery, and should be jailed for a considerable period of time. MHO.
