At least they have to abide by the 1000 foot distance from the service.. Let's see if it is enforced.

Right choice on part of SCOTUS I think, even if the cause of the decision makes me violently ill, and filled with a feeling that is unhealthy to most around me.

Same. They're just trying to get people to attack them so they can sue you, but they do have the right to express themselves. Even in vile, disgusting abhorrent ways.

Those people do have the right to protest, no matter how vile I think it is.

how about taxing ammunition 800% or suing firearms manufacturers anytime their weapons are used in a crime?
After all, if you can't go through the law go around, right?!?!

I have to say I feel it was the right decision by the court. Do I like it or what that facade of a "church" and "christian" people are saying and doing...NO. I am a military mom and thank god everyday my son came home in one piece. So what they do makes me physically ill to think about how I would deal with that.
BUT, saying this speach is protected and that speach is not NO MATTER HOW VILE is a very slippery slope to start down.
Just my two cents.

Then they would have to ticket the Patriot Guard too. They have been known to fire up their bikes and rev them up to drown out the noise made by these people.
Of course that makes me want to join to Patriot Guard for that reason alone. Does that make me a bad person?

The authorities can ticket a woman who uses a 4-letter word when something is sold out at a store, but this kind of "fighting words" speech is protected.

I do not agree that SCOTUS ruled in favor of the protesters, they ruled in favor of the 1st amendment, this obnoxious & fake church just happened to be the people filing the suit. We cannot change the Constitution because of people like this, if we could where do you think the 2nd Amendment would end up? Personally I do not want to see and find out just when we are starting to get our rights back a step at a time.

My personal preferences in regard to that scum sucking bottom dweller do not involve suing. I would prefer a more direct approach. But so far no legal provocation.

A good point well spoken.
