Is it considered public event, can I carry? Also the motorcycle show?

Neither sound like a professional sporting event, so, unless the venue is posted 30.06, you should be good to go. Where are they being held? (Government owned/controlled property cannot post valid 30.06 signs.)

A public event is not a prohibited place.
