may have violated the TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE Chapter 556: Political Activities by Certain Public Entities and Individuals which states that such actions are not permitted.

Additionally, Spaniolo’s message appears to also be a violation of the UTA Employee Ethics & Standards of Conduct which states that, “Employees are not allowed to support or oppose legislation (orally or in writing) as representatives of UT Arlington.”

Can we make a citizens arrest? :biggrinjester: Just kidding, but does the Attorney General or whomever need to take action against him on the Gov't Code thingy? He should get fired or reprimanded at least for the school UTA Employee Ethics & Standards of Conduct policy thingy. Perhaps cut his salary and lower tuition?

Criminals are the biggest supporters of disarmament laws.

Probably will get ignored, but I went ahead and sent an e-mail to David Dewhurst, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas

Info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieutenant ... r_of_Texas" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
controls the work of the Texas Senate ...and controls the budgeting process
and his website
http://www.ltgov.state.tx.us//" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and to the Attorney General of Texas, General Abbott
https://www.oag.state.tx.us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Austin - Attorney General Abbott is sworn in by Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson for an unprecedented third term as the state's top law enforcement official.

I didn't say it in the E-mails of course, but IMHO, any negative "testimony"/"evidence" from that School's administration (He's sending letters to Perry etc) is tainted and should be disregarded.

I'm sure that won't occur, but I liked stirring the pot and bringing things to the surface for examination sometimes.
So, I dropped a copy off for the Associated Press too, they'll probably disregard it.

Perhaps someone will send those guys a warning to stop, or at least shine a light on their inappropriate, if not illegal, actions. (Dunno, I ain't a lawyer)

Perhaps his actions will be "investigated" .... could be really fun if something showed up on the TV News later if they find anything else while digging . ;-)

If it is "White collar crime" with "taxpayer/state funded resources" (our money) I'd like to see it stopped, no matter how small any misappropriation might be.

Just like in retail, each shoplifter in a store may only steal a little, but it all adds up at the end of the year.

I know, I'm just dreaming, but it could be funny, and it needed to be brought up.
