I'll launch this new Forum by asking for contributions to this Topic for IDPA opportunities in the Greater Houston area.
Please list details about your Houston-area IDPA events. And please be explicit with information new shooters need to know. Attracting new members is what it's all about.

TraCoun, Charles opened up this new area on the CHL Forum a few days ago. Do you think maybe there's enough info available about IDPA, and this area would be better used for USPSA or something else?

West Houston IDPA (WHIDPA) shoots an IDPA match every Wednesday night and the first Saturday of the month at the Impactzone in Brookshire.
Shoot a 3 gun match on the second Saturday of the month at the Impactzone.
Tactical SHooters Club shoots every Tuesday at the Memorial Oaks Shooting range

Eastex Tactical shoots Monday nights at 59 Gun range

PSC shoots the fourth Saturday of month at PSC range
TDPSA shoots the third Saturday of the month at their range in Eagle Lake. Also shoot a carbine match following IDPA match.

Thunder Tactical SHooters shoots the second Saturday of the month at Thunder range.

I believe there is also a match at Shooters Outlet on Thursday nights.
There are also non IDPA / USPSA matches at 59 Gun Range and Top Gun.
