How do I find an ammo lot number?

I got a box of XM193 the other day, and figured I'd better make note of the lot number, just in case. Problem is, I don't know where to find said number, and nothing looks like the number that Federal sent out on their American Eagle .45 recall.

This is what I see on the side of the box. Could this be it?

Or should I be looking elsewhere? There is a "number" on the end of the box, but it is covered in packing tape and hard to read. It looks like SM010J037-468. The only other number is the UPC code. Thanks for any help!

Is it a box of bulk ammo or is it in individual boxes? If bulk, look for a number that is either rubberstamped or embossed, If you have individual boxes look on the endflap for a number.

It is a bulk box of 1000 rounds. The one in the pic above looks almost 'stamped' on, as in a different kind of ink and font than the regular printing on the box. The other number (SM010J037-468) almost looks rubber-stamped on. It is on the end of the box, and is at an angle compared to the rest of the printing. That should be it, then, right?
