I want another .357 revolver, and I would like a Python(preferably) or a King Cobra. Anyone have either of these they are willing to part with?

Do you know about these issues or are you amazed by the beauty and quality alone?
I am an owner of a 4" Colt Python. I bought it new in the 1970s for $300. They are beautifully crafted firearms. They have superb fit and finish and were assembled by master gunsmiths. They have a smooth trigger pull direct from the factory. There have been some complaints about the lockwork going out of time and that they are not as sturdy as some of the workhorse S&W revolvers. I haven't had any issues, but I haven't put tens of thousand of rounds through mine. I typically shoot medium pressure handloads and occasionally full power magnum loads. Since they have been out of production for many years, the prices are relatively high compared with most other revolvers. They are a good example of American quality and craftsmanship. Mine is not for sale.jdhz28 wrote:Do you know about these issues or are you amazed by the beauty and quality alone?
I wasn't aware of many issues with either of these firearms. Truth be told, it wasn't something I wanted for any practical purpose, I am a bit of a hoarder. I just like the look and feel of both of these, but either would spend the majority of its life in the safe with all the other toys I rarely play with.
