When reading posts I've picked up some really good websites from y'all that I now frequent.
What are your favorite websites?
Guns, politics, anything...

I used to frequent several but mostly here currently.
Ones I used to visit more, and still do some, pertain to kayak fishing, and fishing.

Other than Google, this is the only website that I visit frequently.

Y'all should check out http://www.stumbleupon.com/.
You must register and fill out a personal profile. The profile is basically a database of EVERYTHING and you click on subject categories that you like. After selecting the categories that you might find interesting, you can start
stumbling.
Every time you click stumble, it takes you to a website related to the categories you selected... and eventually finds pages that you MIGHT find interesting.
It is soooo much fun and I can spend hours learning, laughing and loving.

Law Dog's blog, Iowa Hawk, drudge report, and others, but I spend by far most of my online time on this site here.

I hate you. I just wasted an hour on Stumbleupon and found all kinds of good stuff.

Texas State Parks and Wildlife Department has a great website with calendars, regional activities, and more
Travel Tex has lots of neat ideas for things to see & do.
AllRecipes has a great search feature.
AllExperts has free volunteers that will answer questions on almost any subject. I like the food and gardening sections, especially.
YouTube has so many great music and tutorial videos.
FreeTranslation usually gives me better translations than services like Babel Fish.
MIT Open Courseware archives MIT classes online for free.
TED has free mini-lectures on almost any topic conceivable by experts in their fields.

Drudge Report - who doesn't know what this is?
Lifehacker - "tips and downloads for getting things done". This is NOT just another GTD (Get Things Done) website.
Consumerist - News about companies/consumers and help for consumers.
Gizmodo - I hate their politicizing, but they sometimes have great technology news
BoingBoing - Usually intellectual news.
Gawker - Sometimes interesting gossip-ish type news.
io9 - News related to Science Fiction
XKCD - "A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language." I wasn't impressed with today's comic. Click on "Random" a few times to get a good feel for the comic.
I added the subdomain "ca" in front of some of those URLs because the new layout is "not good" in my opinion. To see the new layout, remove "ca." from the URLs.
+1 for
TED.com
