Eh. Not enough info to form a conclusion. It doesn't sound like he broke any laws though.

Unless he was within 1000' ft of a school with no CHL for a handgun or had a long gun with him.

Could be an ex-wife getting one up on her ex.
"yes 911, my ex-husband just left here headed to our sons school and he has a gun." Then she pops a top and grabs a seat in front of the TV to watch her ex get hauled away in cuffs.
So glad my wife loves me so much. I would hate to think of the things I would have to look forward to if she hated me.
