KISS Shotgun Update

following the helpful advice of "aippi", I installed the Scattergun Technologies' (Wilson Combat) 2 shot mag extension.
(He said, "no sling", so far I've resisted the urge to add one.)
And to help with shipping cost I also bought one of the Hi-Viz M-Series sights. Don't know if it's gonna be able to ride the bucking bull recoil of OO buck, but we'll soon find out. It sure puts a big honkin' dot out there.
Removing the tube dimples was a breeze using a Dremel.
Adding a light and that should be
IT.

doc, I used a barrel to mag clamp to put a flashlight on my shotguns, reasonable price and holds em where you want em. Look into some of the mid price range LED lights that use AA or AAA batteries. I have one that is ~200 lumens and cost less than $50. Call me and I'll give you the details.
A couple of drops of locktite will help keep that front sight where you want it.

thanks!
I didn't think of the Locktite idea.
I picked up a used Fenix TK10, and I'm going to try a polymer clamp I found for about $20.

LIKE
Nothing against black synthetic furniture, but there's nothing that says every defensive scattergun needs black synthetic either.
I think old-school tactical is kind of a cool vibe.

I agree, and "$200" had a cool vibe all by itself.

Better get with it.
Another one popped up today!
Already have it cleaned, shortened, and the stock re-oiled.
All it needs now is a front sight.

You could purchase a piece of pic rail and mount it to the side of the forearm. That would allow you to use any rail light...they can be picked up pretty cheap. GG&G are a great option for this if you ever want to change out the furniture. JD (APPI) is an amazing resource who really knows his stuff..I purchase all of my parts from him. Just remember he is talking to the masses and the decision about things such as slings, sights, etc. should be made according to your situation. JD seems to divide people into two categories, Law Enforcement and people who don't need all that junk...lol. I have to say I appreciate his absolute answers and the picture on his website looks exactly how I imagined him.
ETA - A side saddle and practice using it are always a good investment. The "Magpul" DVD shotgun series is a great place to learn some drills.
