Depends who ou talk to. Mass produced, or home made? Pork or venison or beef?
Got some stuff at Sam's that's good. Forgot the name.

It can't be "home made", it must be brand that a CHL Forum Member can buy.

In that case, I would say V&V. It's in every HEB here and is awesome for a mass produced sausage. Opa's runs a close second.

Opa's is good. I like Earl Campbell's. Not great, but okay.

Renfro's jalapeno cheese sausage made in Lufkin and sold by Brookshire Bros. aint too bad - at all.

In the Beaumont area - - - Zummo's. They have been making sausage for years.
Now what about Boudain? My vote goes to Nick's in Port Arthur for a market made product and DJ's in Beaumont for mass produced.

You beat me to it. V&V from Cistern, TX is the best!
