"Sticky"

I have seen a few posts talk about "sticky" topics.
Where are the "stickys" or what are the "stickys"
While I am at it, is there a way to "Save a thread"? Like when I read a good topic I want to be able to look at tomorrow or next month
I know, I know, I know, over a thousand posts and I still haven't learned it all yet

'Sticky's' are topics that get marked by a moderator to stay at the top of the list in a section of the forum. If you go to a section, you will see they have a little different icon, a splat with an ! in it, at the front of the ones that are sticky's

at the bottom of the thread, there is a "bookmark this thread" link.
From what I know, "sticky's" are threads marked by the admins and usually appear at the top of the topic list.

Keith beat me to it!! You can also subscribe to a thread - one option is to get emails when someone posts to it.

I think other non-announcement "stickys" have a light bulb like
Signs for the CHLer has in
viewforum.php?f=53" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Perhaps that's a fishing line float and should be called "floaties" because they are always at the top .... I dunno
