Well since I am selling a gun for a friend, I might as well put up the P238 I have been meaning to rid myself of. This was a gun I purchased around this time last year to be carried daily. I had problems with this gun. It could never go through a box of ammo without a failure to extract or a failure to feed. I have spoken to Sig and they think its either a spring or a magazine. I dont know. I dont have time to find out or send the gun back to sig. I have decided to sell it since my TCP is running flawless. I have the case and the original magazine. I also bought two magazines for the colt mustang which work but I would not carry with them. I also have the OEM pocket/wallet holster made by Sig. This is the two tone version with night sights. The grips are dirty and dont clean up too well and the breech face is hard to get clean. This pistol does not perform well at all right now. I must disclose that if this gun was to be carried it would need to have the problems diagnosed and fixed. I'm just not going to mess with it. Its my lesson on research before I buy. I would like to get $400 since it can probably be fixed for not too much trouble but I am open to offers. I had to take my pictures with my phone because I couldnt get my piece canon to focus for closeups. Here are the pictures.

Thanks. I think everyone should do their own testing, but I could not sell this gun to anyone without disclosing that it needs work.

This sounds tempting, only because I love the stainless finish on it. I own a 238, and it runs flawlessly with no issues. I live in San Antonio in the Leon Valley area (410/Bandera) I will keep my eye out on this pistol. Just waiting to get my income tax check...

i work in the helotes area so im not too far. I will be out of town this thursday through monday but will have my laptop and emails on my phone. I am open to negotiations for this pistol in terms of price or trades or whatever.

Just as a follow-up, had the pleasure of meeting the seller today and we completed our deal. VERY cordial, and easy to work with - and some of the best in terms of comms I've seen in a VERY long time!
