i need some christmas money.

i have a springfield 1911 shiny stainless GI model. it has a wilson bulletproof extractor, 18.5 lb wolff recoil spring, and the slide edges have been smoothed. it's been 100% with big fat hollow points. it's seen about 300 rounds. i have 3 chip mccormick magazines for it, the original wood grips, and the green plastic box it came in. $480 shipped to FFL, or $450 in person.

I didn't know you could make stainless that shiney. Very sharp looking.

That gun is crying out for a BBQ. Shiny guns are nice.

I think that is factory. At one time Springfield offered a shiny gun like that.

See my general area post for more details on the polish. GI models do not come in bright stainless. this is the gun when new...

You are correct. I just looked at the photo and didn't read the post. However, Springfield did and still does list a shiny nickel gun. The Mil-Spec in .38 super comes in nickel.

What part of the country do you live? I'm in DFW... I'd be interested in this pistol.

I'm also interested. How long is the barrel?
Also, where are you located? If near Houston area, I may be interested in an in-person transfer.
