Business links in signature lines.

Rule 12 allows the posting of links to your business in your signature line, once you have 45 posts. We offer this as a courtesy to our Members and it would be appreciated if you would return the favor and post a link to TexasCHLforum on your site.
Many people have done this, but many have not. This isn't a rule, yet. But if you are going to use TexasCHLforum to promote your business, then help us get more people actively involved in the gun community by linking to our online "family."
Thanks,
Chas.

Not only a link (and logo), but a plug in every class.

Most of us have a job, but not all of us that have a job can change the web site.. If that means we're not eligible to put our business link in our signature, seems reasonable to me. Just wanted to bring up that potential problem.

As I said, it's not a rule yet and I understand what you are saying. However, if someone has a website, whether they run it or someone else does it for them, adding a link is a minor task.

I don't think it is too much to ask. If you can't add a link to the sight you linked the Forum to, then just do not link that sight from the Forum.
Sounds very Just to me!

I have both a link to TexasCHLForum and to TexasShooting on my web site. I have referred numerous gun buyers to Charles CHL classes and to the forum.

Good callout, I agree as well.
I plan to launch a website with chl & firearm related items, hopefully very soon and I will link back to here somewhere on it.
I was recently pondering what is the website considerate aspect of linking (not specifically this site). So thank you for posting this.

Maybe I should have said.... "Not all of us have the
authority to make changes to our employers web site".
For example.... If I am a Realtor (I am not), working for Coldwell Banker.... Of course I would appreciate being allowed to post a link from here to my work web page, but, Coldwell isn't going to change their web site to add a TexasCHLForums.com link as quid pro quo.
If that disqualifies me from being allowed to post my link here, I completely understand.... You won't hear a squeak from me about it... I just wanted to make the point, before a decision is taken here, that not all of us have authority over our work web site.
