Hubby shot a 250, Me, a 234...the Ruger was still misfiring so it's on its way back to Ruger. I was sad to see it go but will be glad to get it back in full working condition. Gunsmith at Gander said the trigger is not releasing so it can cycle through. Said it's the first LCP he has ever seen any problems with.

Hopefully it'll be back before my plastic comes in. Glad it happened there and not in a situation where I needed it. Thanks for all the encouragement!!!

Congrats on passing. Hope your LCP is great when it returns. Welcome to the forum.
What gun(s) will your husband be carrying?
Since you are in the Panhandle, the rest of us further south will be
relying on you and hubby to repel any pesky Okie's!! :-)

Thanks, I'm sure that the LCP will be great when it comes back. Everyone I know says they just love theirs and have never had a problem. Hubby has a cheap gun right now which shall remain nameless, but does not know it yet but before his plastic gets here, will have a Springfield XD compact .45

Congrats. Great shooting. It's going to feel like a long wait for the plastic, but time will pass.
My family from Okie invaded Texas a long time ago, during the dust bowl.

Sweeeeeet! Lucky, lucky man. I have an XDm 4.5" .45, and it drives nails, eats any ammo, and spits it out with nary a hiccup.
If you get tired of waiting, you could check out a Kahr PM9. Very nice and concealable little sweetheart. Besides, you deserve it after passing your course.

...which gun were you firing? which was he? if you fired that high with a LCP, that's even better...a lot of ranges qualify with a Glock 19...my wife, who'd never fired a handgun before, fired a 240...been practicin' my yesmams ever since...glad you both are going to carry...
