I'm placing my Browning Featherweight Super-light, Grade 1, over-under 20g shotgun for sale: $1,700.00. Want to keep it, but need to fund life(not mine, my granddaughters). Not in box (box available), have had about 50-100 rounds through it, although it's been mostly stored. Reasonable offers will be evaluated and appreciated, but not necessarily taken.

FFL Transfer Preferred.

Thanks,

...well, I guess I get to keep it after all. Thanks guys.

You sure that's a Superposed?

If so, you are selling too cheap IMO.

Yea - its either a Superposed or it is a Citori. Superposed made in Belgium by FN, Citori made by Miroku in Japan. I don't think the Superposed was available in white so I'm guessing this is a Citori. Still a good price on it though - it looks good.

Superposed is another word for over-under. I wasn't aware that it's a brand name.

It is a Browning Citori.

You're exactly right TLE. Browning started calling his Over and Unders, "Superposed" back in 1931 and it has stuck to this day. Citori came along after they weren't manufactured in Belgium and began with the Japanese made superposed shotguns, I believe.

"Superposed" in the world of shotguns (for sale, trade, other) means: A Belgian made Browning, my superposed looks nothing like the one you have pictured is why I asked.

Actually, one can still purchase a new Superposed...you just have to custom order it and have really deep pockets. ;-)
