After selling my XDm I was left with a Safariland paddle holster and a Crossbreed, the Safariland fit my M&P no problems, the Crossbreed on the other hand was a little loose. I really didn't want to buy another Crossbreed so I got to thinking it's kydex right? maybe I could just heat it up and remold it, and ya know what it worked, I used my wife's hair dryer heated it up stuck the M&P in and began remolding with my hands.

Accidentally hit submit to early

.
Anyways, this little holster alteration has got me hooked, I want to buy some kydex and leather and start playing. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, and you can just keep reheating it until you get it right. I'm glad I didn't have to worry about putting it in the oven either, the wife's hair dryer worked just fine, although she is a hair stylist so maybe its one of those super dryer that you have to be in the club to get. I am really glad I was able to mold it cause now I don't have to buy another Crossbreed

.

I did the same thing once (but with a heat gun) to convert a CrossBreed to fit
a gun with slightly different dimensions. Worked like a charm.

You can also order individual materials from
http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for alot less.
I make hybrid holsters and sell them for $40 a pop. I don't think people should have to pay $80+ for crossbreeds and other holsters like them.
