This is actually a sobering story we should all pause for a moment and consider.

Here is a CHL who shot the other person. The other person then wrestled the gun away from the CHL and shot him with it.

The CHL died.

These are not magic talismans we carry.

And a clear failure of the deescalation/non confrontation training we go through to get our CHL. Even if someone follows you into a parking lot, gets out and starts yelling at you....you just LEAVE. A traffic incident is not worth dying or killing over. Something all parties in this waste apparently forgot.

Better to have, and take your chances, than not have and have your chances taken FOR YOU! And as for Colin Goddard, well I'll just ask this: You know that face folks make when they smell something really bad? I'm making that face now...

I think it's hilarious colins tweeting this all over trying to make the argument if you use a gun you'll just get it taken from you and shot by it. If it's so easy, why did colin lay there and let Cho shoot him, instead of taking the gun from him?

Logic simply doesn't apply to some people.

Police are not charging anyone with anything. So murderous road rage is okay?

no charges filed at this time. So either there is more to the story and it was a justified shoot....or they're just figuring out what to charge people with. With one dead and one in the hospital, it's not like there is any flight risk if they don't charge people immediately.
