This is a 1941 German Mauser 98K rifle (russian capture) marked BYF 41 (Mauser AG Oberndorf manufactured in 1941) in good condition with all original markings intact and russian caputer marks. The bore is a little dark and the rifling is still prominent. The finish (arsenal refinish?) are is good with one area of wear on the top of the receiver. It comes with 540 rounds of berdan primed 1970s Yugo 8mm mauser with lacquered cases. When I bought it, it was advertised as non-corrosive. Gun forums taught be to be a little suspicious of this claim, so I have always treated it as though it is corrosive in terms of cleaning the rifle. 340 rounds come in an unopened spam can. The remaining 200 is boxed in 20 round cardboard boxes. $400 FTF in Houston, TX.
