I'm not one to side with Obama, but is the man supposed to take NO time to himself ever? Would you feel the same if he spent that time out at the shooting range, if that was his hobby, rather than on the golf course? I can think of a few things to designate him as a loser, but I'm not sure playing golf every weekend is one of them. I would LOVE to play golf every weekend. And I would, but it's too frigging hot here right now!

The POTUS' golf is cheaper than the FLOTUS flying around in Airforce One with her buddies...I think.

The real problem is his time on the course is also misappropriated. He'd be better off spending most of that time on the driving range... his swing is terrible.

Personally, I wish he would spend more time on the golf course. That limits the damage he can do to the economy with more socialist programs.

If golf is your biggest gripe with the President then I think there is a problem. I have many gripes with him myself. His weekend plans are not among them. Why not gripe about the other 6 and a half days of the week. He is person just like you and I, he just happens to be President. george Bush went to Camp David almost every weekend, that had to cost quite a bit. While this President mostly stays in DC with a few weeks of working vacation in Hawaii, in contrast Bush spent nearly 41 per-cent of his first eight months in office on vacation. It is not productive to attack this President on such trivial matters.

This thread was posted to entice more about Loser than golf. Looks to me like it's doing it's job (unlike the POTUS)!

While his wife is out on safari in Africa, what else could he do but play a little -- his 75th round of golf, btw, since being elected by the liberal media and self-serving gimme-gimme coalitions.

However, loadedliberal is correct in that it's less about golf and more about his complete failure in all aspects of constructive national and international leadership -- (even though this weekend makes 13 weekends in a row that he’s played golf in a ever-worseing economy and global financial and political meltdown).

In spite of Obama's lack of any redemptive leadership qualities (a pretty poor example for the messiah), he has been one of the best deconstructive leaders in our nation's history.

You're comparing apples and oranges. 246 full working days versus 93 days vacation time which is still lower by a good margin that Bush's working vs. vacation days in the same time period. If he stayed in DC all the time you would attack him for being out of touch with the people and that he locks himself in his Washington compound while telling the commoners "let them eat cake", ok sorry to put hypothetical words in your mouth but the point I am trying to make is it does not matter what this President is doing there are some who are going to nit-pick every single step the president takes and it is ridiculous and wastes time that could be used to discuss real issues.
