Shotgun blast request

Lotta stuff here, sorry I don't have time for all the details. Haven't even been to the forum for a few weeks with so much going on.

Good friend has crones (?), lost his job and home, trying to sell all his stuff to move where he can get treatment. Trying to help him, letting him stay here, don't have any extra money but trying to spread the word around town.

Oldest son has diabetes pretty bad, let his sugar get out of control and got locked up (not criminal, just mental because he gets really crazy at high levels) Hes' out now, living here with us and doing good. Had to lock all my guns up for the first time ever, felt weird. Still carry though.

Last living uncle died. Really nice guy. Can't go to the service because of my job schedule.

We're pretty close to God but we like any extra prayers we get.

Bullwhip,

What part of the state are you located? Maybe some of the members here would like to help out a little. Maybe pay "a little extra" for some of the stuff the guy is selling or pick up an extra can or two of corn at wally world. I know the financial impact of taking on a couple of people would be a huge burden for most people in our current economy. I'm sure members close to your location would jump at the opportunity to lend a helping hand.

Edited to add:

Our church is doing a series called Act Normal where we look at the Christians in the book of Acts and how they applied their faith and how this should be the Norm instead of the exception. I can not think of a better example of the "Acts" norm than what you are now doing. May God truly bless in all of your endeavors.

Thanks very much all. Lifes been busy, not much time for the forum of late.

Son is doing great. Friend has sold all his stuff, got his car fixed, picked up last payment for stuff he sold just today, he's going to hit the road tomorrow night for California. He has a friend there with a spare bed, a job offer, and better health care.

jmra, thanks for those kind words. I'm not a big church guy, but I'm a strong believer in Jesus and the 4 gospels. I try to live my life like He said, not tell other people how to live theirs.
