Hate crime victim sues to stop shooter's execution

In September 2001 a man who had "issues" shot up a convenience store in Dallas for the expressed purpose of killing Muslims. He "succeeded" in killing three. He is now on death row.
A relative of the deceased victims, who was also shot, has sued the state to halt the execution.

Probably this lawsuit has no traction. Of course victims or the survivors of victims do not have the privilege under our rule of law to turn thumbs up or thumbs down on perpetrators.
