PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A Pasadena resident was shot during a home invasion Monday, police said.

It happened at a home in the 4400 block of Seminole at Yellowstone.

According to a spokesperson for the Pasadena Police Department, three or four black men broke into the house late Monday afternoon.

Several residents were home at the time. One of them got into a scuffle with a suspect.

The resident was shot at least once, police said.

The suspects left in a Chevrolet pickup truck.

I heard this on the police radio while an officer was investigating another theft at my deceased father's business. They took the A/C condensing unit this time. The officer only told me it was a home invasion but no details of who'd been shot. I was hoping it was the BG. The home invasion incident unfortunately is close to my home. Prayers for the individual who was shot

I live two blocks from this in the same subdivision. There was a lot of police and helecopter activity (both police and news channels) for several hours after the shooting.

It just goes to show that no neighborhood is immune from violent crime.
