For $700 you're going to have a tough time. Not impossible - but tough.Zoti wrote:Looking for an AR-15. Up to $700. Please reply with what you have. Looking to buy local in Plano area.

I'd build one if I had an exact parts list and a good manual to follow. Can you recommend one?Rex B wrote:I dunno, that's pretty much the market for a standard M4.
You can get a new one for that at any gun show
Or build one for less than $600
Get those 4 components in the links and put them together. No tools required, they just fit together. Upper is held to lower with 2 pins, bolt group slides into upper, charging handle slides in with it.Zoti wrote:I'd build one if I had an exact parts list and a good manual to follow. Just going by my own experience..... if this is going to be your first build, you should include the cost of a decent punch set, a DPMS AR15 Multi-tool, a DPMS "The Flipper" Action Block for AR-15s made out of delrin, and maybe a couple of other odds and ends.............figure maybe another $100 bucks to make your life simpler.i8godzilla wrote:I received this in an email from a friend in FL a few weeks ago. He was considering this purchase. I emailed him this morning and he has not yet pulled the trigger. I cannot speak as to the quality or completeness.
