So...I travel to Chicago several times a year for work. It's bad enough that I'm not allowed to protect myself there, but now it's just getting absurd.
I jump in a taxi to head back to the airport. About 5 minutes into the ride i notice a sticker on the window. See Below...
Really?!?!?! What are you taking my picture for. ugh. It's really a shame that that city is in such a terrible state...

I would try to find the camera, look directly at it, and appear to slowly and methodically probe my favorite nostril with my index finger. Appearances are important. If you actually are probing the depths of your proboscis, watch the driver to make sure that he/she does not hit the brakes and drive it up your nose.

That city is the reason for that "terrible state." Do you really think that anti-gun policies and paranoia would be so rampant in Illinois if they hadn't originated from Chicago? ArmaLite, Inc., D.S. Arms, Inc., Lewis Machine & Tool, Eagle Arms, Inc., Les Baer Custom, Inc., Rock River Arms, Inc., and Springfield Armory, Inc. are all manufacturers of evil black rifles and/or pistols who are located in Illinois. I have a friend who lives here in Southlake now, but grew up in small town Illinois where hunting is still an ongoing tradition, and until the last 20 years or so, gun ownership was considered normal. It is the Chicago Democrat political machine which ruined the rest of the state for gun owners.

Chicago sucks eggs, all the time, for being so spineless and careless with the Constitution.

No I don't. I was actually just referring to the physical city. As in, if downtown Chicago was uprooted and placed in Texas, (leaving all the libs behind) it would be a great city.

Those are in DC, Philly, Portland, Dallas, Detroit, etc. 90% of cabs I ride in these days have a camera system. It helps prevent ride and dash and documents crimes in the back seat quite well.

Wow if you have a problem being photographed in a public place or business than you probably should never leave your house.

Hope you don't use ATM machines. They actually use video cameras and normally don't have signs.

And it probably won't be much longer before this type of stuff is on public streets. There already are cameras in many public areas in some of the big cities, but they aren't equipped with this.

Oh yes in Illinois it is illegal to make a video of a LEO making an arrest

Actually, if you will double check, under past prosecutorial interpretation, it is illegal to make AUDIO recordings of a LEO without consent, or any other person. And just a couple of days back an Illinois judge made a ruling that does serious damage to the use of the anti-wiretapping statute being used by prosecutors that they are saying recordings violate. Hopefully that use of that statute will soon disappear.

I was watching a show on discovery yesterday named http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/s ... .26231.0.0 long story short it say govt has the ability to scan your eyes from a lot farther then 5' and it can from a satellite watch a persons gait when they walk to ID them I only saw part of the show it looked interesting it is on again on the 28th at 10am.
