Good deal on .40 S&W ammo

Sportsmans Outlet on the FM1960 (east) bypass in Humble is selling cases (10 boxes) of the Winchester Ranger RA40155 JHP for $125 (50/box).
I believe the price for individual boxes is $12.95.
This round would appear to be in the upper echelon of defensive rounds.
It is routinely recommended to fire up to several hundred rounds of your carry ammunition to establish reliability. At $0.75-$1.00 for most of the best defensive ammo, this quickly becomes cost prohibitive.
In my case, I just acquired two new .40's and figured this an affordable option.
I saw no other calibers on sale.
