A citizen making an ATM withdrawal at a nearby bank happened to have a gun and handcuffs and held the 27-year-old suspect until deputies arrived.

A citizen at the nearby ATM who saw it all drew his own gun and used it to make a citizen's arrest.

"He takes the shooter into custody," Urquhart said. "He also had handcuffs, so he handcuffed him."

The man had a firearms license, the sergeant added.

Wow, both people involved in the altercation had guns in a drug deal gone bad. How does the CHL know which person is at fault when he intervenes? That could have been a really bad outcome.

Also, carrying handcuffs, huh? I wonder if his nickname is "Gecko45 wanna-be"? :smilelol5:

Holding one suspect at gunpoint is one thing, using handcuffs is another ball of wax. "rlol"

It's not what I would have done but it looks like it worked out for him.
