This guy says Perry is our Rooster Cogburn.
Perry - Bachman 2012?

Personally, I'm still not over that trans-Texas Corridor boondoggle Perry tried to ram through.
That was a little too globalist for my taste.

If Texas Monthly can speak well of him, he might just get enough of the liberal vote to win? It can't be any worse than 2008...can it?

...and Bachman is a squirrel if there ever was one. Condaleeza Rice would be my choice for VP to balance out the ticket {on both the foriegn and domestic fronts}. Maybe then I could get interested?

Considering all of the jousting Perry and Obama have done over the past few years, this could be a really interesting and dirty election season.

I do not care who will be elected as long as:
1) Balanced budget in the first term.
2) Reducing the US Debt
3) Marshal program for US based manufacturing and jobs
4) No more useless wars

I would reverse that order exactly...if I were prioritizing in order of impact.

We won't see any of it, but we will surely be ready to vote the bums out in 2016.

I couldn't agree more on both items. Unfortunately I don't believe Miss Rice has any interest in running. I could be wrong...wouldn't be the first time.

Satirist Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report has formed a "Super PAC" (Political Action Committee) that is allowed
to solicit funds for whatever political purpose he chooses, without the more restrictive rules that apply to PAC's.
The "Super" in the name gives him freedom from the "PAC" rules.
Well, since being approved for his SuperPAC, he has been collecting money from donors. He's probably got "a lot"
but no disclosures have been made as to how much.
Well, just this week, Colbert's SuperPAC made its first ad, and the aim of it is very puzzling, even from a comedic
viewpoint.
He made 2 TV ads, specifically for the state of Iowa's straw poll voters, who vote on Saturday, 8/13. The ads support
Rick Perry, but he advises those who support Perry to cast their straw poll votes by writing in "Rick Parry".
If many voters write in "Rick Parry", this would appear to throw a monkey wrench into the process of determining the
voters' intent.

Well. I guess we can keep seeing liberals elected to office while we wait for the perfect candidate. Hey, Perry is pro-gun, shoots animals with his guns, supports gun rights, prays, probably prays about gun rights.
I say we get this man into the Whitehouse with Bachman as his number two...and I don't mean number two, you guys.
Juveniles.

No matter who gets the GOP nomination this will be one of the dirtiest campaigns we have ever seen. The Dem's have no record to run on so they will attack and distort, the blame game has gone on for 3 years and the current administration has yet to accept any responsibility or provide any plans. I believe the silent majority will speak only with their votes while the vocal minority commences with a spin and twist campaign...

I am fed up with both parties. If the devil runs as an independent, he has my vote.
